BCCI women contracts list for 2025-26 season

Jemimah Rodrigues has been promoted to Grade A in the BCCI’s women’s central contracts for the 2025-26 season, as India’s cricket board refreshed its retainership list covering October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026.

The new contracts, announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on February 9, include a return for Harleen Deol and first-time retainerships for several emerging players.

BCCI women contracts for 2025-26

The BCCI’s Grade A list for the senior women’s team features Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana and Rodrigues.

Grade B includes Deepti Sharma, Renuka Thakur, Shafali Verma, Richa Ghosh and Sneh Rana.

Grade C includes Radha Yadav, Amanjot Kaur, Pratika Rawal, Kranti Gaud, Uma Chetry, Arundhati Reddy, Sree Charani, Yastika Bhatia, Harleen Deol, Kashvee Gautam, G Kamalini, Vaishnavi Sharma and Tejal Hasabnis.

Promotions and new additions

Rodrigues’ elevation places her in the top bracket alongside India’s most established batters, after she was listed in Grade B in the previous contract cycle.

Sneh Rana moved up into Grade B, after being in Grade C last season.

The BCCI also expanded the pool with contracts for Pratika Rawal, Kranti Gaud and Sree Charani, along with Kashvee Gautam, G Kamalini, Vaishnavi Sharma and Tejal Hasabnis. Harleen Deol, who was not on last season’s retainership list, returns in Grade C.

Notable omissions from last season

Compared with the BCCI’s 2024-25 women’s retainership list, Shreyanka Patil, Titas Sadhu and Pooja Vastrakar are not included in the 2025-26 contracts.

Tour of Australia begins February 15

India’s women’s team is in Australia for a multi-format tour that starts with a three-match T20I series on February 15 at the Sydney Cricket Ground, followed by ODIs and a Test match later in the trip.
